– Accessibility Commitment At Miraltabank, we believe that access to financial services should be universal. That’s why we are committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to everyone, regardless of their abilities, context, or technology. Our commitment is aligned with current digital accessibility regulations, in particular Royal Decree 1112/2018 on the accessibility of public sector websites and mobile applications, and those of entities providing services of general interest.

 

– Compliance Status Web accessibility is based on the guidelines set by the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI), developed by the international World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). Miraltabank’s websites are being progressively adapted to align with the AA level accessibility guidelines. We are adopting recognized web standards such as the use of semantic HTML to improve accessibility and user experience. Improvements already implemented or planned include:

  • Alerts for new windows
  • Text alternatives for images
  • Adjustable font sizes
  • Use of headings to structure content
  • Support for keyboard navigation and assistive technologies

 

– What We Are Already Doing We are implementing accessibility improvements based on internationally recognized standards such as WCAG 2.2 (Level AA) and the European standard EN 301 549, to ensure a more intuitive and consistent browsing experience. Current initiatives underway include:

  • Designing a new web architecture with accessibility built in from the ground up.
  • Incorporating tools to support navigation via keyboard, screen readers, and text magnification.

Our Partnership with Saxo Bank Miraltabank leverages Saxo Bank’s platform as its technological foundation a global benchmark in investment and trading. Saxo Bank is currently aligning its platforms with the requirements of the European Accessibility Act (EAA), aiming to comply with WCAG 2.2 AA standards and the harmonized European regulations expected by December 2025. A global accessibility plan is already underway, which includes the development of a new inclusive design system and partnerships with accessibility experts.
